Trip Itinerary

Embark on a breathtaking journey along Victoria’s renowned Great Ocean Road. This one-day adventure showcases the stunning beauty of the coastal drive, featuring immaculate beaches, verdant rainforests, and striking limestone formations.

Be captivated by the 12 Apostles, a collection of majestic rock formations standing just off the coast of Port Campbell National Park. Our guides will enchant you with tales and history that define this magnificent coastline.

Departing from Melbourne, we journey towards the Surf Coast, passing through picturesque seaside towns like Anglesea, Lorne, and Airey’s Inlet. Enjoy a morning tea stop, savour the fresh sea air, and watch surfers ride the waves. Learn about the area’s connection to Antarctic waters and the necessity of wetsuits for surfing here.
Visit the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, a significant monument marking the road’s beginning. Capture photos at the iconic arch and delve into the history of the soldiers who constructed the road in honour of their comrades.
As we travel, keep an eye out for wild koalas and native birds. While koala sightings can’t be guaranteed, our expert guides know the best spots to search for these adorable creatures in their natural habitat.
In Apollo Bay, take a 45-minute lunch break (at your own expense). Explore the town, pick up souvenirs, or indulge in some delicious ice cream before we head to the Great Otway National Park.
Experience a guided rainforest walk in Great Otway National Park, starkly contrasting the coastal scenery. Wander among tree ferns and ancient Myrtle Beech trees, remnants of the supercontinent Gondwanaland. The lush greenery offers a refreshing change of scenery.
Arrive at the iconic 12 Apostles in Port Campbell National Park. Spend about 40 minutes marvelling at the stunning views, walking the boardwalks, and capturing photos of the breathtaking coastline.
Explore Loch Ard Gorge in the National Park, a famous Australian shipwreck site. Hear the harrowing tale of Tom and Eva, visit the beach, and see rock formations like the Island Archway and Razorback.

Concluding our tour, we left the Great Ocean Road and returned to Melbourne via scenic country roads. Pass through farmland to Colac, where you can grab dinner (at your own expense), before returning to Melbourne around 8:30 pm.
