Tour Itinerary

The coastal loop adventure starts on Greenhead Three Bays Walks. After lunch at Dynamite Bay, we drive on Indian Ocean Drive for coastal views. We visit Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake, a must-see outside Geraldton. Then we go to Kalbarri for Natural Bridge and Castle Cove. Stay overnight in Kalbarri, a seaside town where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean.

Start early to see the Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window, and the Kalbarri Skywalk. These are natural attractions in Kalbarri National Park, where water is carved through sandstone. During spring, there are bright pops of colour from wildflowers. The Billabong Roadhouse is a well-known landmark for lunch and refreshments (at guests’ expense).

It has been serving visitors since 1962. Shell Beach is another remarkable sight, with a beach entirely composed of tiny shells. We will stay on the beach with resident dolphins at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. This area is part of the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay. Optional activities include kayaking, relaxing on the beach, or looking for wildlife like turtles, dugongs, emus, and kangaroos.

Optional Activity: Abseil with Kalbarri Abseil – 2 descents 

We will meet the Monkey Mia Dolphins in the morning and take amazing photos. Next, we’ll visit the town of Denham and walk along the foreshore. We can enjoy the beautiful cliff views overlooking Shark Bay and maybe even spot some sharks, turtles, rays, and other wildlife at Eagle Bluff. After that, we’ll stop at the Overlander Roadhouse, where guests can buy their own lunch. Then, we’ll continue south, making photo stops at Galena Bridge and Coronation Beach before reaching our final overnight destination in Geraldton by the seaside.

Enjoy the HMAS Sydney Memorial in Geraldton. Take in stunning views. Visit the Point Moore Lighthouse. Walk along the foreshore and lookout in Port Denison. Continue on the Indian Ocean road. Stop in Jurien Bay. Walk along the Jetty. Travel to Cervantes, a lovely seaside town. Have lunch at the famous Lobster shack. Take a guided tour through their Lobster factory. Visit the Nambung National Park. Explore the strange and eerie Pinnacles Desert. Relax on the bus for the last stretch. Enjoy the scenic countryside views. Head back towards Perth. Drop-off begins at around 6.30 pm.
